ENmaven is a company for English teachers and schools all over the world working with children in preschool and early school age.

My role in this project was to understand target groups by research, design the entire process of getting to know the brand and process of buying products, design of the the website (through UX and UI design), create content on the website (copy) and plan communication strategy of a brand (such as: mission, vision, values, tone of voice, rand personality etc)

Problem Statement:

MTeachers wants to have the best quality of their lessons and at the same time not spend their own free time on a time-consuming searching process for valuable materials.

Challenges:

Easy to use platform for teachers all over the word that enables teacher to buy all kinds of material needed to conduct valuable lessons
A well thought-out brand communication strategy that responds to the hidden needs and problems of the target group

  • How to communicate with the target group? (who are the customers, what problems and difficulties they have, what kind of teachers they are, what are their motivations etc)
  • How to organize and present information on the platform? (what information do they need, how do they choose materials, what are they guided by when choosing materials, what is important for them at work etc)

Research analysis

The research showed that the first activity that teachers perform is searching for materials by keywords. Thanks to the search engine placed in the first viewport, we enable quick transition to the key action for users.

The research showed that the first activity that teachers perform is searching for materials by keywords. Thanks to the search engine placed in the first viewport, we enable quick transition to the key action for users.

All information on the lesson tiles are the factors deciding on the choice / purchase of a given material, as declared by the respondents.

Insights

There are few problems to solve when it comes to teaching as an English teacher.
First, teachers need to be smart and creative to attract their students and be sure that they'll be effective.
Second, they need to meet expectations of not only their students but also parents, which means that they need to be professional and their lessons needs to be practical.
Last but not least, there are also their own ambitions and needs like being THAT teacher everyone will remember.
